Just so everyone’s clear – a little reminder about the colors (in birth order)

Satchel = Yellow (but also orange, brown and red…and sometimes white)

Pablo = Blue

Levi = Green

    Gadzooks, these boys are HUGE! And lookin’ fine.

    But now, what’s the feeling on who they look like? Despite Yory’s advice to keep this to myself, I think I see a trace of… Orin. Call me crazy.

    Love Satchel’s squint in the above pic. Reminds me of the old Steve Martin sketch… “What the hell is that? Hey kids, get your lips off that! Ohhh, it’s a… what the hell IS that?”

    How did you assign colors, just out of curiosity? We have the same system. Linus is blue (because of Linus’s blue blankie in Peanuts), Oliver is green (think Olive green), and Miles, poor Miles gets whatever’s left over. Generally yellow or red. But then it gets tricky, because if there’s orange, Oliver gets that. And then Miles might be green in that case. Or I just forget and put them in any old color and then people get mad at me. Hmm.

    Neen- thanx on behalf of the brethren. Honestly I see what you mean about Orin. Alex and I have ceased seeing hints of either of US in them for the time being.

    Hehe – yeah, ole Satch. It is proving exceedingly difficult, actually, to capture his (unmistakably pensive) personality on “film”. But this one definitely shows one aspect of it.

    Pam -wow, great minds think alike! It was actually pretty random. I am the color code nazi around here, though I’ve recently allowed the mixing and matching of bibs and other accessories. Our boys have looked pretty distinct for the most part, but Levi is starting to look more and more like Pablo – and I’m guessing that’s not gonna stop. Sometimes at night, in the dark, we swaddle the boys in the wrong colors and confuse the feeder on the next shift!

    We love this picture and think about all of you often! Our friend who has triplets assures us that the first year is a fog but then it lifts. We hope to see on our way to Blue Hill in July. Can’t wait to meet the boys in person! You have our love and support.

    Love, Jerry, Korliss, and Katya
