Hello, I just read your post on Triplet Connection and ended up here. I just wanted to say that I understand what you are trying to say and agree with you completely. I do feel you were flamed a bit and unfortunately that happens often on that site. I wish there were more husbands but as you alluded to, i believe they are either to scared to speak or have been eaten by the pack of wolves that seem to follow each and every post that is not in their “click” I myself have posted several questions, and have either received little to no feedback or nasty replies from mean woman. I am the proud mother of 21month old triplets and a 10month old and life is always a bit crazy. I am on that site almost daily to look for advice but will probably never post anything which requires an honest,non-judgemental answer. I hope you find a site that appreciates husbands as much as they should be. My dear husband works full time 7am -6:30pm and takes care of the kids and their many needs until I get home from my full time job at midnight. I think he should get a medal and I guess I just wanted to say that because of your post I realized I don’t tell him how great he is nearly enough, so Thank You Sincerely Angella

    Hi Angella,

Wow – what a truly lovely comment. I thank you most sincerely, and am glad to hear you’ve got a helpful and loving partner. I can’t imagine how you do it – w/ triplets AND a baby to boot. You deserve a medal too to be sure!

I’m lucky to have this little blog to fall back on, where people are always really supportive and friendly in their comments. There’s also a part of me (you may have noticed) that sometimes craves a good fight so… I got what I could handle. There were – to be sure – some pretty funny comments along the way in that thread. I’m sorry that you’ve had some negative experiences there, alas I can’t say I’m entirely surprised.

Anyway, great to see you here – thanks for stopping by. My best to you, your husband, and your kids.

    best,

    Dan
