These seats were made for walking

pablo-in-car-seat-test-12-26When one of these puppies makes an appearance, the other infants in the joint start banging on their cell doors, throwing trays around, and being otherwise unruly to the guards. The car seat indicates that one of the inmates – thus forward to be despised – is getting sprung. Was it a technicality? A high priced lawyer taking the case pro bono? A buckle in the face of the media frenzy? No-one knows. But they’re all certain to make little Pablo’s life tough for his two or three remaining days in the clink. No ciggies. No illicit contraband. This guy already has the smell of an outsider, and he is not to be trusted.

Whispers have it that he’s going to fly the coop on Sunday or Monday with his little brother Levi in tow. Odds are the two will maintain a low profile for a short period of time, before re-embarking on a petty-crime spree. There are no statistics on recidivism for triplets, alas, but the likelihood is you’ll hear word of these babes again and soon.

Meanwhile the elder – who some see as the mastermind – is slightly yellow and on a bit of a hunger strike. He’ll stay in the clink a little longer, though nobody doubts he’ll be running operations from the inside. Law enforcement can only hope that the moderate inconvenience of being separated will slow these notorious brothers down just enough to stay one step ahead. When Satch walks, however, whether it be days or a week, there will be blood.

Thanks poietes. I had never heard of Alpha Inventions – that’s a pretty amazing site. Glad I’ve made the it on there (if only for, what, five second! – wow!)

Mostly we’ve had LOTS to be cheerful about on this ride. Just a few bumps in the road, and this is one of them. Thanks for you support.
