triple your phun

So yeah, we ought probably to have started this blog weeks, months, even years ago. That’s the rage in the world of triplet blogdom, which is more raging than you might think. Anyway, we’re somehow here at the hospital – this glistening and new Children’s Hospital where we have our own swanky room, a flat screen TV, DVD player, fridge…in short, we’re gonna squat. But really, we may or may not be having babies in the next couple of days… We’re at week 31, and we just went in for our weekly ultrasound, where as usual we saw the babies’ hearts a-beatin’, limbs a-kickin’, fluids a-swishin’ – the boys were having their usual partay, exceptin’ that Baby B (who DOES have a name, but we’re not going public with names until these boys take their first breaths) was showing some reversal of blood flow in his Dopler (if I knew more what this meant, I would surely tell you). Before we knew it we were whisked off to the hospital with a flurry of activity around us – monitors a-beepin’, nurses a-hustlin’, you get the idea.

Anyway, word on the street is that the babes could come any time now. 2 days. 2 weeks. Today? We’ll see…

I have to run and do some a-organizin’… but you’ll hear from me soon.

    Danny! And Alex! Whoa!

I just saw that you’ve ensconced yourselves up on the OTHER hill. Hope all’s well today!

    Thanks Nina and Neil

We are having phun so far, even if I am up at 5 surfing the net on this thin little hospital couch. The important one of us is sleeping like a baby (not John McCain style, though) in the big adjustable bed.

Great to chat with the supremely-positive-moma-to-be from her hospital bed yesterday! We’re down in NC for a wedding this weekend, but thinking about you guys all the time. Hey, are the animals you chose for the blog masthead clues to future names?

    Go Baby Boy B, go!

    luv, C & J
